Running Again
Why do my dreams usually end up with me running away from something? I should have that checked out. But anyways, my dream this time is about me hiding from Ninong or someone from IMC. They've been looking for me because I had some information about some higher person. I can't even remember what's it for anyways. So, yeah. The main area where I hid was at the Muslim Mosque places at Bicutan. The houses there are just enough to hide a single person like me. But I vaguely remember that Shannen was there with me too. She was also hiding with me. First, we walked around the main roads. The houses there were fenced off, not allowing any trespassers in. At this point, the people tailing us were a couple of meters away. We ran off as fast as we could. Then we reached a smaller road, not like an eskinita. But it was narrower than the main road. These houses were two storeys high. We talked to some of the people there if we could find a place to stay for the night. Most of them said no, while the others didn't even allow us to speak before shoving the door right up at our faces. We were almost at a breaking point, between running from the people following us and the constant rejection from homeowners. I mean, who could blame them? Two strangers asking to stay for the night, heck, they might be even murderers or thieves. I think it was best for them to be cautious around people. But still, there's not a single person who gave us a speck of sympathy. Shannen and I then reached the eskinitas, this is where the closed houses were situated. The kind of houses are connected by a single wall and the view outside is the rotting and stinky canals. There were people gambling outside and drinking away their sorrows. We tried to be safe as we could as well. We found a place to hide at a home compound. The road and the area were really tight as if it could only pass one person at a time. I didn't complain since we had no choice left. We were situated in the last room of the compound. No one would notice if we were there or anything. So, we stayed there for a while. No possessions of clothes or chargers. It's just us. The more I think about it, I think we were like the modern Bonnie and Clyde. But I know that thought is foolish enough to compare someone as extraordinary as them with us. Particularly me, since I'm not that sly to get around. Anyways, Zero was also there for some reason. The neighbors asked us if we could handle their dog for the night since the couple was going on a trip in a while. We said sure. I think this was influenced by A Lady's Guide to Mischief and Mayhem since there was a scenario where Caro asked Mrs. Kate's secretary to handle her Siamese cat since the cat generally hated people. Anyways, I felt like I was fed up with the time we spent in the room. I began contemplating my life again, and then I went out. When I went out, the rain suddenly started pouring down heavily. I was running and enjoying the area. I even went to the farmer's market. That's when I saw ninong still looking for me. He was near where Shannen was staying. So, I ran as fast as I could. He saw me running and followed me immediately. Okay, bad decision. He wouldn't have noticed me if I didn't run in the first place, but Shannen was at risk of being discovered. I ran and the rain pelted heavily on my skin and my eyes. I can't even see a thing in this blasted weather.
